Cosmetology $8,500
This course is only available in the Fall.

Monday through Thursday, 6-9 p.m. - 1000 hours
This 2-year course will meet four nights per week from September through June. You will begin with exploring topics about Bacteriology, Sterilization and Sanitation, Anatomy and Physiology, Skin and Nail Structure and Growth, Basic Chemistry and Electricity, Haircutting, Principals of Hair Design, Braiding, Wigs and Hair Enhancements, Hair Coloring, Chemical Texturizing, Facials, Make-up and Nail care.
Students will receive comprehensive training in all areas of cosmetology and related fields needed for the state board licensing examination and employment in the cosmetology industry. Cosmetology career opportunities include Hair Stylist, Manicurist, Salon Manager, Salon Owner, Make-Up Artist, Product Technician and Desairologist. Kit and book included. Financial budgeting available.
Manicuring $850

Tuesday & Thursday, 6-9 p.m. - 100 hours
This 100-hour basic manicuring course offers all the skills needed to pass the State board examination which includes the following: basic manicure, hand and arm massage, hot oil and paraffin wax treatments, a variety of nail and polish applications and anti-aging hand treatment. Also tip application as well as acrylic, gel and wrap procedures. Kit and book included.
Auto Damage Appraisal - State Approved $535

Monday & Wednesday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
The Auto Damage Appraisal class is designed to give the student with at least two years practical experience in the automotive or related industry a solid approach in knowing how to appraise a collision damaged motor vehicle. The course covers basic parts, terminology and description, front and rear suspension components, frames (both conventional and unitized) labor operations and painting, along with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Laws governing licensed appraisers and insurance companies. This course is approved by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Division of Insurance Appraisal Board, to be taught as a preparatory class. Pricing does not include books.
Auto Body Repair $185 plus materials

This course is designed for individuals attempting to improve their basic skills. Subjects covered include all aspects of sheet metal preparation and repair; application of plastic and fiberglass body fillers; preparing, mixing and spraying of automotive finishes including proper use of auto body hand tools and hydraulic equipment.

Auto Mechanics Basic $185 plus materials

Tuesday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
This basic introductory automotive course is designed to help the non-professional better understand how their car works. Learn basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. Topics will include basic fault data, brakes, suspension, engine, fuel, electrical, transmission and heating/air-conditioning systems.
Auto Mechanics Advanced $185 plus materials

Thursday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
Learn hands-on repairs on your own or other students’ vehicles using professional automotive shop tools and equipment. All work is supervised by an ASE certified instructor. Students will focus on advanced diagnostic procedure.
Prerequisite: Basic Auto knowledge
Basic Home Improvement $320
Monday, 6-9 p.m. – 12 weeks
This course will provide you with a general overview for basic home improvements with 4 weeks each of basic wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
Cabinetmaking $235 plus materials

Wednesday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
Cabinetmaking consists of team or individual project. This course will cover layouts, mills, and working with various types of wood. Instructions will include emphasis on safe work habits, descriptions and use of hand tools, and machinery. Equipment used consists of cutoff saw, band saw, table saws, sander, planer, jointer planer, lathe, router and various tools. Project plan will be provided by the instructor or a student may have their own project for the first class. Students will supply their own materials.
Harley Maintenance & Performance Modification $520

Tuesday, 6-9 p.m. – 10 weeks
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic Harley-Davidson motorcycle maintenance and performance modifications. The curriculum will include oil changes, tune-ups, troubleshooting, wheel and belt replacement, routine maintenance, cam selection and installation, cylinder head, piston, ignition and modifications. Classes are taught by Peter Chambers, with 35 years of multi-brand motorcycle experience, a graduate of Harley-Davidson University with a PHD/Master of Service Technician status.
OSHA Construction Safety & Health Course $100

NEW DATES! Wednesday March 13, 20 & 27, 2013, 6-9 p.m.
This two day OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety & Health Course is intended to provide entry level personnel general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards in the construction industry. Instruction focus: hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Participants successfully completing the hourly and course requirements receive an OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety & Heath Course completion card.
Small Engine Repair $185
Instructor: Doug Hanson
Monday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
Students will be trained in small engine repair such as; lawn mowers, snow blowers, chain-saws and weed whackers. Students will be required to supply their own equipment and parts each night, beginning the first night. Tools will be provided by the school.
Welding Basic $550 includes materials
Instructor: Butler/Russo
Monday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
The basic welding course will include the theory of welding principles, practices, and shop demonstrations. Various welding processes pertaining to the curriculum will include: SMAW (stick welding), GTAW (Tig), GMAW (Mig), oxyacetylene welding, brazing, flame cutting and plasma cutting. Students must supply their own personal safety gear (helmet, safety glasses and gloves.
Welding Advanced $550 includes materials
Instructor: William Williams
Thursday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
Students will be allowed to focus on specific welding processes which the student wishes to master. The welding processes will be made available through small projects, stimulated job situations, and testing. Students must supply their own personal safety gear (helmet, safety glasses and gloves.) Prerequisite: Welding Basic.
AWSD1.1 Welding Certification Testing Preparation $525

Thursday, 6-9 p.m. - 10 weeks
This instructional course is in preparation for AWSD1.1 testing. This practical hands-on test preparation instruction includes: D1.1 vertical and overhead SMAW, and sample cuts and bends. You need to contact your local Testing Lab for certification testing.
